We enjoyed a wonderful family day at the annual Civil War Reenactment at Picacho. The boys loved seeing the battle reenactments, walking through the camp, holding a rifle (it's heavy) learning about the "medical" tools they used (a lot of amputation!) and the clothing they wore (wow, lots of layers). We also got to see a lady spin cotton, learn about the games kids played (NO iPods or Playstations), and hear about the food they ate. It was a perfect day!
