Last night Ed emailed out 28 letters to principals at DOD schools - the same ones he sent packets to a few months ago. This is what Ed emailed me:
I came in this morning to nine emails from DoD principals. All of them expressed that they, at this time, did not know of open positions in their school. One principal, David Tran of SHAPE High School in Belgium, elaborated that due to the uncertainty of the new presidential administration, principals may have to wait until April to get their personnel allocations and budget, where in previous years they have gotten them at the end of December prior to the break. He said that the up side of that was that the hiring process would be expedited. I am not sure that a quicker process is a good thing. At least it is something. As P.T. Barnum said, "Even if people are saying bad things to me, they are still talking to me."
Boy, patience sure is a virtue - the anticipation is killing me! But, I know what is meant to be will be - we have faith!

First of all, your new header is SO cute!
ReplyDeleteI can imagine how anxious you must be to find out where/when you will be going. That would drive me crazy! You got it right though when you said what is meant to be will be with faith! Hang in there.
Did you get Ed's test results back yet?
