Merry Christmas!

We hope this finds you well. Rather than writing a letter this year, I will do a quick recap and suggest that you read past blog entries - lots has happened in this past year.

**Ed**
My dear husband continues to be the wonderful husband, father, and teacher that he always has been. Recently he finished the first chapter of his dissertation - his goal is to be done with his doctorate in May. He truly amazes me with all that he does!

**Keira**
I continue to enjoy the blessings of my wonderful husband and three boys (and our sweet dog, Sam). I am also very grateful to still be teaching 6th grade.

**Collier**
Our oldest is a 5th grader! He continues to do well in school and is a 2nd degree junior black belt. Collier is obsessed with Arizona Football and is looking forward to the bowl game in San Diego - we are headed there for a week with the Cooks and Westmorelands right after Christmas.

**William**
Our adorable middle child is doing very well in school this year. With some extra help in reading, he is soaring. Math continues to be his strength. Just like Collier, William is working hard at karate toward his junior black belt. His favorite pastime is hiking with Ed.

**Evan**
AKA Ev or Van... Evan is in kindergarten and has learned so much this year. He loves to read and write - he especially enjoys going by new names. Evan is a Little Dragon 3rd degree black belt and is doing very well - especially at annoying his big brothers.

**Sam**
Our sweet dog continues to be such a beautiful blessing - we just love him! He is so easy going and lovable. Hanging out with Ed's mom's dog, Ophie, in Colorado is certainly one of his favorites.

While this year has brought much happiness, the loss of three grandmothers was certainly sad. Thankfully all three of them lived a wonderful life, but will be dearly missed.

May this season bring you much joy in all that you have been blessed with.

Love,
Keira, Ed, Collier, William, Evan, and Sam
